Mini Sweet Paper FLower
(Template 1)
Supplies you need to make this DIY Mini Sweet Paper Flower:
- Cardstock (any color, I used soft pink)
- Glue gun
- Silhouette Cameo or scissors
- Mini Sweet Paper Flower template (download Mini_Sweet_Paper_Flower.zip)
- Gemstones
- Bone folder tool or pencil
To start:
- If you have Silhouette Cameo, download the following file Mini_Sweet_Paper_Flower.studio and cut it on cardstock
- If you do not have a cutting machine, download the following file Mini_Sweet_Paper_Flower.pdf, print it and cut it on cardstock.
Once you have cut the petals and the base, you should have this:
Take the petals and make a cut in the bottom to the center of each one, take the bone folder tool or the pencil and swirl a little the upper edge of the petal
Take each petal and put some glue on one side of the bottom edge as shown in the photo:
Glue both end bottoms of the petal (this will give it volume) as shown in the photo:
Now, take the circle to start assembling the flower, put glue on the bottom back of one petal and glue it to the base (circle)
Repeat the previous step with the 4 remaining large petals; as the photo shows:
Take the 5 petals of the next size and glue it the first one between 2 petals of the previous layer, the other 4 glue them in the same way
Take the last 5 petals and repeat the previous step:
At this point you have almost finished your Mini Sweet Paper Flower, to decorate the center, take some gemstones and glue them to the center of the flower
At the end you must have a Mini Sweet Paper Flower like this
You can use it as part of a paper flower arrangement
I hope this DIY Mini Sweet Paper Flower serves as inspiration for your craft projects and allows you to discover the beautiful art of paper flowers

I found you on the Pintrest page, what a find. I have just started to “have a go” with the type of flowers you have on your site. I am an amature card crafter, and I know that paper flowers can make a card very special. I am at the stage ” work in progress”, especially tips on not getting glue up.
Hi Judith, tanks for your words!. I’m glad that my paper flowers are an inspiration for your projects, I made some cards with them and they look really nice, very cute.
Hugs,
Karina
